Jen
Jen,
Smooth – worked nicely in cocktails and neat. A nice drink to relax with as there are no overly assertive notes.

Shirley
Shirley,
Worth having in your bar.

Cliff
Cliff,
It's a little too bitter for my taste.

Cristy
Cristy,
Smooth and full bodied, this cognac lulls me to sleep without fail.

Jake
Jake,
Tastes great in Coke. Tastes better listening to rap music. I used to drink this freshman year of college just because it seemed fancy and tasted good with coke. I remember sipping Henny and Coke at GILT when Rick Ross was performing. Epic night.

Ryan
Ryan,
It's just ok. Probably fine as a mixer, but I've been trying everything neat lately. This has got a sweeter oak nose and taste than bourbon, but the finish is almost non existent and don't pick up anything on it.

Mario
Mario,
Smooth caramel taste. Little to no bite. Great from start to finish.

Zachary
Zachary,
Great by itself or as a mixer

Matthew
Matthew,
Not a fan of cognac or brandy, but I use Hennessy regularly for Steak Au Poivre. The flavor is much better than cheaper cooking brandy or cognac, and is comparable to much more expensive brands, making this a great choice for steak and other recipes. Also works well for soaking fruit for sangria.

Thomas,
Overrated. It's not bad, it just doesnt deserve the amount of praise as it receives. Far too sweet.

David
David,
The first time I had Hennessey, was at a party and was showing off. Was expecting to cringe from the burn going down, but no burn. I feel the burn takes away from the flavor, and definitely was able to appreciate the flavor. Definitely recommend.

Smooth and pleasant grownup drink

Mike
Mike,
Has the flavor profile you expect from a cognac but the youth of the spirit shows. A distinct ruggedness to the aroma and flavor profile, with a notable alcohol burn on the back of the throat with a bit too much caramel on the tongue.
