A high-quality spiced Caribbean Rum packed with flavor.
Hedonist Spirits was founded in 2011 in Bordeaux, France. Importantly, being just south-east of the prime grape growing region of Cognac, Bordeaux is the port city commonly used by spirits-makers for import and export. Hedonist has spent the last few years building up a line of boutique brands, including Hee Joy, Gun’s Bell Rum, and their namesake Hedonist spirits.
Gun’s Bell Rum is a blend of high-quality, aged Caribbean Rums. They are transported to the Bordeaux home office where they Rums are blended, infused with a proprietary mix of exotic spices, and then married in wood vats. The result is similar to what you might call a “pirate Rum,” with a strong flavor profile and heat to stand up to cocktails. But it is refined enough for easy sipping neat as well.

What does Gun's Bell Spiced Rum taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Gun's Bell Spiced Rum and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Rum is why we measure alcohol proof. To make sure Rum wasn’t watered down, it had to be ‘proven’ by soaking gunpowder with it. If it was ‘overproof’ (higher than 57.15 % vol.), then the gunpowder would ignite, but if it wouldn’t, it was ‘underproof.’
