Feast like it’s 1899!

Let’s go back to the last decade of the 19th century — the Belle Epoque as they call it. We meet Picasso, Van Gogh, Manet and Oscar Wilde. They’re either being creative or drunk — hashtag life goals. And what are they drinking? Absinthe, the mysterious Green Fairy, of course.

To bring back that era of debauchery and genius, one of the oldest traditional recipes for Absinthe was unearthed in Southern France, and a potent potion of Grande Absente was created. It’s also handcrafted like we’re in the 1890s. A distillery called Distilleries et Domaines in Provence makes sure only the best botanicals are used, and they put a proper devil in it: Grande Absente is 138 proof and has more than 35 mg of Thujone per liter. Be sure to enjoy this emerald demon responsibly.
