The corn can be felt on the nose along with some spice from the rye, the peppery kind. There's notes of vanilla, honey, and malt, as well as a hint of char.

Dan
Dan,
HUGE pine flavor for me. I’m drinking it with a big rock so that will alter the flavor, of course, but I’ve never had a whiskey with pine flavor

Joshua
Joshua,
The first time that I drank this it was neat and tastes like lake water. More specifically the lake that I grew up on in lake odessa, michigan lol. But after tasting it with a splash of water later in the day its bearable. But definatly not buying again.

Colton
Colton,
I did not enjoy this bottle at all. It had an OVERWHELMING taste of dirt, like actual dirt. Straight, watered down, cocktail: dirt. Perhaps I'm missing the nuances of such a high corn mash, but the nose, initial, and after taste, just tasted like dirt. Some may like the earthy flavor, I did not.

Frank
Frank,
Upon opening the bottle, and smelling the contents, was hit with a scent of wet dirt after a long dry spell. The initial taste was of burnt wood. Tried some over ice, not much better. Added some soda to it, and it was drinkable.

james,
i like bourbon but the first drink i hade of this was not good. but i went back to it the next day and found 1 large ice cube and let it sit for five minutes and it was drinkable. but just a plash of diet coke and it was good. won’t be getting it again but I’ll definitely finish the bottle

Joshua
Joshua,
Good bourbon with a good bite at the end. A little closer to a Canadian whiskey flavor than a Kentucky straight.

Christopher
Christopher,
This tastes quite a bit like I imagine Pine Sol does - chemically, antiseptic. Really quite bad. I'd some the bottle, but will wait until I see how it mixes.

KEVIN
KEVIN,
I get a hint of earth or dirt smell. First taste is the same. Not really in a bad way but not my thing
