A good inexpensive dram. Not earthshaking, but light and sweet and satisfying.
Love the Bourbon notes after taste , with all the flavors in this great Speyside Single Malt, one of faves for sure. Just purchased 4 bottles for the Holidays. Cheers
This is right up my ally. Love the taste of this as it’s not overwhelming. You get all the notes and aromas in a really exciting way.
The best Speyside expression I’ve had, and I’ve had quite a few. Mild fruity nose with hints of milk chocolate. Smooth , with a deep extremely long toffee/dark chocolate finish. New fave.
A second favorite at the moment.
Sweet and warm
Light and tasty, with enough complexity to make it interesting.
Nose - vanilla, honey, butterscotch candy, some coconut, light floral notes and deep barrel oak.
Taste - buttery coconut and caramel, some oak spice, a bit of orange zest as well.
Finish - surprisingly oily and lingering consider the lightness of the spirit, some sweet and sour notes that fade into a longer lasting spice burn.
Not too much power in this whisky, almost like diluted. Good for ladies maybe...?
Light smoke but sweet taste. Enjoyable
this is my favorite!its very smooth and so light and pairs well with different fruits.this is by fate my favorite. when will the dalwinnie winter bottle be ready?
Very little flavor, was expecting more. Ga
A little light and not the smoothest. Good not great.
Reasonably smooth, on the sweet side.
It’s good. Has an odd scotch like taste to it
A subtle creamy taste that is very good neat. Very happy with my purchase
Smooth and delightful. A wonderful alternative to MacCallan, being from the same area. Highly recommend this.
Scotchy and bourbony. Both peat and sweet. Not bad, pretty good, not entirely sure why.
Nice, affordable scotch. The nose is sweet with hints of fruit, bite is minimal, finish is mild to no burn and short in length. I would like to taste the fruit in the finish, but still not a bad sipper.
I love it I think it has sweet smooth taste.
Mouthfeel seemed a little thin. Great aroma and I definitely picked up on some vanilla notes. I'd still choose Balvenie Double Barrel first, but i could end up buying this again sometime.
I prefer bourbon, but as Scotch goes this is a good sipping spirit. Good flavor and a smooth finish.
Great Affordable Scotch
I really liked this one
Not what I was hoping for. Maybe I got a bad bottle but it smelled and tasted more like turpentine than scotch.
It's was good. Light with Vanilla and coconut which I barely care for. Went nice with my cigar
An interesting dram. It leaves much to be desired but good for the price point. Vanilla and alcohol up front with some coconut sweetness on the rear.
We loved this. It was light enough for the proverbial cocktail before dinner, and very nice as an after dinner drink. The flavor is reminiscent of bourbon, with a nice finish. A great go to Scotch
Full flavor. Neat is the only way to get the full flavors. I notice the cocnut more than the vanilla but the orange and honey come more in the after effects. All in all the Bourbon Oak casks gove this a great taste.
An excellent dram. I've had some of their other bottlings and wasn't entirely convinced, but this one set me straight. Delicious.
A tasty bang for your buck. The vanilla is lively while the coconut is subtle. Well worth the price.
