The Glenrothes

The Glenrothes is a quintessential Speyside single malt Scotch Whisky distilled in the town of Rothes in the heart of Speyside. The distillery has a storied history that dates back to 1879 when they began crafting some of the world’s finest Whisky.

The Glenrothes is most known for its unique Vintage Releases, though their lineup has evolved over the years to include a range of several age statements. Each vintage has its own unique personality, but Glenrothes single malts have a standard clean, smooth elegance.

In 2018 the brand expanded its portfolio to include their age-stated series, which currently consists of a 10-year, 12-year, Maker’s Cut, 18-year, and 25-year. In 2019 they released the distillery’s oldest Whisky a stunning 40-year-old Speyside.

Their usage of Sherry casks with a little American oak creates a subtle, balanced Scotch. You’ll find signature notes of red fruits, candied sugars offset by a floral and spicy character.
