— Smooth and sweet and awesome

— I am primarily a bourbon man. So I am new to the scotch tasting experience. I find this Scotch to be very enjoyable. It is smooth and has a nice balance between smoke and Peat. It mixes well and makes a very good godfather. I look forward to tasting in testing more of the Scotch like this. It has a very nice finish. I have also enjoyed Dalwhinnie And we be happy with either one of these.

— Wow wow wow just exactly the first thing I said as I smelled it and took a zip out off it Smokey spicy apple fruity smooth its amazing

The greatest inexpensive single malt. My staple spirit.

Arjun
Arjun,
It has a stronger flavor than the regular 12 year old single malt. I like it to change the pallet from the regular 12 year old Glen.

Mitchell
Mitchell,
In truth, it was not significantly better than “regular” Glenlivet 12. I also found this bottle to be overpriced - it is available much cheaper from local shops. It had some extra flavor due to the first fill but, as I said, not enough difference for the price.

Daniel
Daniel,
Very smooth single malt. The nose was very cherry heavy to me personally. Its flavor was sweet at first but quickly developed into heavy oak, I imagine due to this being a first fill as opposed to being matured in something like a sherry cask. The end was a little savory along with the oak. Very interesting and very good. Highly recommend.

All around great scotch. Not much for smells, but great mild smokey flavor and fruit.

Smooth and Smokey with a decent amount of peat. It’s what scotch should taste like. It’s a great scotch in the price range but definitely not as good as the special releases.

Pronounced alcohol aroma, initial alcohol bite and some lingering bite after swallowing. Slight peat. Drinkable but not my favorite, cheap enough though.

Your thinking of the regular Glenlivet 12. This is a "first fill" bottle.
