Member Reviews and Ratings of Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Whisky
One of the best go-to's when unsure of what to use amongst friends or a gift. This whiskey has a nice flavor, notes of spices and honey and vanilla (if you really look for it). Strength is good, and pairs excellent when smoking a pipe.
It is good, but lacks in complexity. I would pick a Glenlivit 12 over it every time.
Smooth, fruity and peppery. A nice sipping whisky
This is the first whisky I've actually enjoyed (I'm new to this world!). This was nice and smooth with a good heat afterwards.
Very smooth. Needs nothing but a single ice cube.
Very good. Received it as a gift
Sweet on the nose.. very smooth and a go to at that price range.
Got a lot of sherry and honey on the nose. Palate starts with sweet honey and quickly shifts to more fruity and buttery caramel notes. Good balanced scotch
Drinks beautifully- haven't had this in years, but it's got subtle notes of honey and bright, tropical fruit notes (lots of pineapple). Easily one of my favorite Scotch single malts.
Very reasonably priced for its quality. Nice way to finish an evening, though best for more casual drinkers.
One of the smoothest whiskies I own, if not the smoothest. Can recommend.
Possibly the best bang-for-buck whiskey out there. Smooth, mellow, fruity and warm. Stunning. One for the permanent collection.
Much better then 12, better than 18. Great value and hard t0 find!
A good Whisky
Noticeably smoother than the 12 year old and more body. Apples and sweetness remain but with more oak and caramel. Similar to the dalwinie 15 yr but less floral.
Very smooth and enjoyable to drink will definitely be looking to buy the 18 year next or maybe just another 15 yr. It's the best bottle of scotch I ever had the pleasure of sipping
Complex and smooth
Great Scotch. First time trying a scotch. Odor of berries, almost like a wine. Taste of cherry, little smoke and subtle heat but not over powering.
I really like this. I have only had one dram but I'm looking forward to finishing the bottle. It was rich and complex, dark fruits and malty, a little sweet, and Oh so smooth.
very similar to classic glenfiddich but with more depth of flavor, a stronger less elegant taste, and the addition of some caramel and bourbon notes that drown out the fruitiness. Overall i actually preferred the original 12 year
Soft on the pallet with a warm kick to the edge of the taste. Hints of woodyness in the aftertaste.
Smooth, with hints of sweetness, will happily buy again
Best Scotch made!!
Closer to Glenmorangie but sweeter. Aniseed, liquorish. Grass on the finish
This one surprised me. It was absolutely worth the price and I wouldn’t hesitate picking up a bottle. Well rounded, good finish.
Great Scotch, smooth with the right amount of sweet and complexity
Smooth yet delicious and accessible.
Outstanding scotch. Slight smokiness but I love the sherry/port cask finish
As good as it gets at 15yrs. Bold start smooth finish. Carmel party.
Smooth! Very good.
Beautiful expression of the solera system using different casks. Fruit bomb with ripe berries, cherry, stone fruit, and citrus. Baking spices on the nose and faint smokiness. Excellent!
Sweet and incredibly smooth!
It's a good, popular Spey with lots of marketing behind it. Sweet, smooth, fruity.
Smooth and a hint of sweet, absolutely a favorite
Spicy and oaky, full finish.
Not over powering. Nice smokey tones. Easy drinking scotch.
Strong oak flavour. Very savoury.
Excellent Scotch, clean flavor and easy to drink.
Awesome "daily drinker" and at a better value than the 18. Much better than the 12. Impressive quality given massive production.
A little sweeter on the finish but quite good
Very smooth, rich honey and oak flavor.
Amazing taste. Classy.
Smell is very fruity. I especially like how it feels when you first sip it.
Always got one bottle in my bar.
Good drink for having conversations with friends or loved ones. Have it neat or with few ice cubes to explore the complex flavors.
This was my introduction to whiskey and still remains a favourite
Bang for the buck on of the best 15 year. Better than older glenfiddich's
