Nicholas
Nicholas,
I was expecting more from the 12. It was more plain than expected. Nothing spectacular and didn’t enjoy mixing it too much either. I can say that I was impressed with the smoothness but disappointed with the quick finish.

Sherry and almond on the nose, light oil and zest on the palate, lingering brightness with a touch of honey. Easy drinker.

Easy to drink. Probably my first scotch I’ve had so don’t know too much. Typically drink woodford

Ryan
Ryan,
My personal favorite. Easy to drink, price is reasonable. Usually neat or with a drop or two of water. Never on the rocks.

Matthew
Matthew,
Floral, fruity, simple. Good price, smooth Speyside Scotch. Some pear and honey, creamy malt, oak. Sweet oily finish.

Tyler
Tyler,
I received a bottle as a gift from a friend whose play I did lighting design. Gift whisky is best whisky. N: Sweet aromas of apple, candied nuts, honey. P: Thin on the palate with hot cereal, toast, honey, black tea. F: quick finish, slight sugar and spice. Nothing complex but a decent entry and introduction to Speyside malts.

Christopher,
Quintessential Speyside. Sweet, light with a little spice. Fresh and grassy even. A great intro to single malts, or at least it was for me! Pretty one note and simple, but tasty nonetheless.

Josh
Josh,
Decent whisky. Not a super complex whisky. Lots of oak on the nose and finish with some slight peat at the end there. Well balanced scotch

Hunter
Hunter,
Good intro scotch, pretty general flavor that's indicative of scotchs in general but lacking in real individuality

Elliot
Elliot,
Easy to drink, but that's partly because there isn't a very strong flavour. Fairly smooth with a slight smokey quality.

Oskari
Oskari,
Easy, quite similiar to the Glenlivet 12, comes down to personal preference, however I don’t think this is as good. I would go for the Glenfiddich 15 it is far better.

Michael
Michael,
This is definitely my favorite scotch. Very smooth and enjoyable.

Darren

Not too spicy or bitter. Great with an ice cube or a splash of cold water.

Angel
Angel,
As a standard in the Glenfiddich realm, this 40% Abv. can hold it's own amongst vastness of Speyside distilleries. Pears, green apples, maybe a hint of savory smoke. I enjoy this as a precursor to a meal or a flight. But usually enjoy throughout the evening.

Eric
Eric,
Great whiskey overall. Light and fresh with notes of butterscotch and pear.

Hints of apple and pear with an okay finish. Smooth, but lacking in complexity.

Joe
Joe,
Very smokey and had a nice end note of vanilla. The finish was a little harsh initially so tasted best with a ice cube

Kayla
Kayla,
when you sit with it, the nose starts to smell like latex medical gloves. I dont DISLIKE it but I prefer Glenlivet 12 to this. The Macallan 12 to both.

Thomas
Thomas,
Great for mixing, cut with just a bit of soda. Not too harsh, just a basic, decent whiskey.

guest
guest,
Not much flavor, but in fairness, it was at a bar, and the bottle could have been old. Not much smoke, not too sweet, not much heat.

Michael

Undoubtedly a Speyside Scotch. This super smooth, slightly sweet whiskey will please most palates, especially a new Scotch sipper.

Collin
Collin,
Classic Speyside scotch

Jason
Jason,
A bright slightly musty Whisky, the nose matches the initial mouth feel with apple and pears. The musty nose goes away from the taste being brighter. It has a fairly long finish with some oak and spice. Not super complex, but is fun to pick out the evolution from nose to finish.

Carlos
Carlos,
A most for those dipping their toes (not literally) into Whisky. Friendly, fruity (pears, green apples), juicy, sweet, simple but not boring. Overall, a great one to start your Whisky journey and to enjoy in the spring/summer time.

Jon
Jon,
Really well rounded for my tastes. Juicy green fruits up front, with a moderate finish. I believe this is my new go-to.

Owen
Owen,
No bad, a little more bite than I’m used to

Great introductory scotch. Nothing overwhelming about its flavor and ultimately forgettable after finding your whisky preference.

Michael

underwhelming, after drinking the 15 year old solera reserve

Spencer
Spencer,
Great Scotch. Flavor does not disappoint.

Wesley
Wesley,
Solid

Anthony
Anthony,
The nose is a bit buttery and light. The initial flavor to me is oaky with hints of spice, that lingers into a light caramel and hints of green apple. I didn't get the super strong green apple flavor that others seem to get, it seems more woody/spicy to me. A fairly standard dram, nothing overly special but it's inexpensive and decent.

Tyler
Tyler,
I’m usually a Glenlivet guy, but I changed it up and was impressed. You get a lot more Oak and green apple taste with Glenfiddich. A good refreshing change up to the mix

Good beginner scotch with nice amounts of green apple, pear, vanilla with some oak. Finishes a little spicy at the end though.

James

Very good Scotch! I like the spice at the end and how smooth it is to begin with. Definitely will keep this one in the home bar!

Piotr
Piotr,
Nice everyday whisky :) as my favorite Ralfy says it’s the best to water your whistle before drinking something serious. It’s not too sweet which I like a lot :)

Simple, soft- certainly not overwhelming. Easy to drink & a gratifying evening companion.

Enoch
Enoch,
A bit aggressive and requires a lot of attention to appreciate. Too fruity for my tastes, though it might work well as a summer treat with soda water.

Will

Sweet, definitely taste the pear and apples. Smooth with a medium finish, a good choice if you don't care for smoke.

Just a standard scotch, nothing special or fancy.

Kevin
Kevin,
A wonderful starting point for your adventure into the scotch whisky world. Simple, but can offer some more if you are patient.

Mario
Mario,
Made me understand that 1 little glass per afternoon makes the bottle empty before the 1st month. It is not too soft not too spicy. It has the perfect balance of them both for me, with nutty and wood-like strong flavors which makes it my favorite single malt till this day.

guest
guest,
My first single malt experience come from this bottle.
