The GlenDronach 12 Year Old Original
KEVIN,
New to my wet bar. Excellent Scotch. No smoke sherry flavor. Incredible.
The GlenDronach 18 Year Old Allardice
Chris,
Very smooth, favorite scotch

guest,
This is just an amazing dram. The cherries and orange/chocolate smack you in the face, then comes the nuttiness, followed by the delightful Christmas cake on the long finish. You get what you pay for!
The Glendronach 15 Year Old Revival
David,
Round, warm and wonderful. Full, mouth-filling flavor with plenty of sherry, vanilla, and cherry. Notes of baking spice and a touch of smoke show in a long finish.
The GlenDronach The Hielan 8 YO
Josh,
Very good Scotch to start your wife on! No, this is not an insult. This is very smooth and not biting...

Paul,
My first GlenDronach and I must say I found this to be a real pleasure. The nose was very pleasant and a little fruity. The taste was quite delicious and got the sweetness that reminded me of dried dates and raisons. The finish was quite pleasant with no bitterness. This to me is a solid 8.5 or higher and I am glad I picked up a bottle. Would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Jeremy,
Well rounded dram with multiple layers. Sherry up front but not overpowering. You get a lot some bitter cocoa and orange peel along with an oaky, peppery spice that balances well with the sweet dried raisin and some subtle vanilla, plum sweetness. Very complex and different from the 12

glendronach LN31286 2019 18 Year. i rly RLY like this one! smooth and warm and i’m happy. apparently it’s 24 years becUse it’s actually 18 plus 6 that weren’t counted in the sherry casket june 7 2020 - i’m already pretty tipsy but i dint love this one as much as i did last time. it shows context counts

Thomas,
The texture and subtle flavors of this Scotch are outstanding. The aspect I enjoy most, is the lingering tasting notes WITHOUT any bite or bitterness. This will remain on the top of my list, for favorite Scotches of all time!
The Glendronach 15 Year Old Revival
David,
Nose has loads of sherry and some cinnamon and banana. Palate is smooth with cherry, a touch of earth and baking spice. Finish is long with a lingering hint of smoke. Loved it!
The GlenDronach 12 Year Old Original
Angel,
A sherry bomb to say the least. Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso all day in this dram. Buttery rich ripe fruits, subtle citrus notes. Dry but full finish. Complexity city.

Brendan,
A very good scotch, but I feel it gets lost between the 15 and 21 year Glendronach expressions. The Revival is arguably just as good as the Allardice in my opinion, and if you’re going to splurge on the 18, I think it’ worth paying the extra to step up to the Parliament.

Brendan,
Great sherry bomb. Lively and playful. The best bang for your buck in the Glendronach line.
The GlenDronach 21 Year Old Parliament
Brendan,
Just amazing! I’ve tried a lot of scotches and this one is arguably my favorite. Great sherried nose, excellent mouthfeel, and a long woody finish that doesn’t sour. Delicious.

fruity? kind of sour

guest,
Mostly sherry on the nose. Initial taste was heavy sherry and some oak. Finish had some vanilla and spicy flavors. I liked it overall, nicely rounded.

Jarrod,
Probably the best scotch I’ve tasted so far! Smooth and perfectly balanced, makes me think of a chocolate-covered cherry.

guest,
Easily my favourite. Used to be Glenfarclas 25 but this, taking into account the price, is a clear winner

Jeremy,
The sherry and oak are to die for in this dram. Beautifully well rounded with a sweet vanilla and nutty lasting flavor. Just the right amount of salty spice to it on the end. Quite lovely
The GlenDronach 18 Year Old Allardice
Jeremy,
This is an amazingly sherried dram. Beautifully balanced with the right amount of heat, sherry, oak, plums and black cherries. Extremely smooth and drinkable with an everlasting finish. Wonderfully leathery woodsiness as well. Great complexity, balance and full bodied flavor

guest,
As its brother, the Cask Strenght edition, it has a sweet and smooth character. Unfortunately, it lacks in punch due to the ”just” 43%. Great scotch nevertheless.

Aaron,
This is a very good Sherry forward whiskey. The flavor starts off sweet with some fruity notes and brown sugar. It has a nice warming finish. Very smooth!

John,
Really like this Scotch. Fruity and sweet on the palate. Think figs or dark cherries. There's a bit of oak, but it's not the most obvious flavor. Tinge of licorice. The finish is niiice. Fruity flavors last. Id take this over MacAllan 12 Sherry oak and day.

Jose,
The sherry is amazing but it is a bit too smoky for my taste. But if you like smoke and sherry then you will love this.

Jacob,
It was solid. I wouldn't buy again. There's other 12-year bottles that are comparable/maybe better. But solid taste if you like smooth sherry cask finish!

Jacob,
Very good! I really enjoyed the finish. Tried it in a bar and went out looking for the whole bottle after. Good smokey taste for those that don't like peat (like me)

Great! This is my new fave Oruro sherry cask whiskey. Very similar to the Macallan 12 but without the surfer. Highly recommend!

The Glendronach 15 Year Old Revival
Andrew,
The 15 really is a nice upgrade from the 12 (which is also very good). Upon pouring the first glass, I smelled that sherry and a bit of a cherry cough syrup smell. I let the glass sit for 15 minutes. When I returned it was like Christmas cake with raisins. A very substantial nose. The mouthfeel is not heavy but not watery either. It is very pleasant on arrival and as it travels through your mouth. You'll pick up some sour notes (I'm not a big fan of sour so it's the only part of the experience I was iffy about). It finishes with a bite but settles nicely. In moments you'll be ready for your next taste. I'm very happy with this purchase.
