William,
I'm not really a "gin guy" - a good gin and tonic on a hot day is nice, but vodka in my martini please. That said, this is a special gin. It's hugely flavor forward - floral, piney, grassy, slight fruity, all without being cloying. It makes a GREAT G&T, losing none of its flavor in the mix. Glendalough has done it yet again with this one.
Gary,
I crossed paths with Glendalough Wild Botanical in a Hilton bar in Dublin, Ireland. The bartender paired it with a Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water. Even before taking my first sip, Glendalough's scent/aroma gently woke my olfactory senses. It smelled like late spring and early summer in the Wicklow Mountains. While refreshing all on its own, I find that it's a laid-back gin ready to party. It can be an excellent companion to fresh strawberries, cucumbers, or even the stand-by wingman — lime. It's become my favorite gin.
Kris,
I didn't like gin before I tried this. It's floral and sweet without being overpowering and feeling like I'm licking a pinecone.
Teri,
Delicious
Sean,
Really great gin! Decent for sipping but really good n a G&T or other gin forward cocktail.
Shaeli,
Love it! Botanical and crisp!
JORDAN,
Really crisp/fresh. A bit in your face. With an ice cube and maybe slice of lime, this could be enjoyable if you aren't afraid of intensely floral flavors.
Jon,
This was a bit disappointing on its own initially, given the overall rating it received. It got real interesting as part of a gin gimlet and gave a tremendous flavor, but I look for ones that I could sip all night and this just wasn't that. Not bad, but for the pricepoint, also not great.

Joselin,
I love this so much, great one.
Kathryn,
This is really lovely, I agree with the other raters who noted this gin stands on its own - beautifully floral. I look forward to using it mixed as well. Very pleased with Glendalough's offerings so far (this and their mountain strength poitin)
Enrico,
It is good...really. Crisp and fresh with an enjoyable floral aftertaste. Nothing else is needed, no tonic and no ice....
Michael,
My wife and I absolutely love this gin. We found it very smooth and crisp, with balanced flavors and incredibly enjoyable! Pair it with a good craft tonic or just on the rocks. Highly recommended!
Tim,
Amazing sweet and floral gin

Absolutely excellent gin. Fresh and lively herbals, beautiful alone or with a craft tonic.

A gin for all. A mouthfull of Outdoors. Fresh.
I’m afraid too many people will discover it.
Ken,
Very nice, very floral. Not sure if the wild botanicals impart something distinctive, but the idea of local botanicals in a local gin is fantastic!
Nicola,
Hands down, this is one of the best gins I've ever had. Incredibly smooth with beautiful floral notes.
Barry,
Rose on the nose, grass in the throat

Some Gins you keep for yourself. This is mine.
guest,
This is one of my favorite gins. I have tried this one as well as the Spring and Autumn botanicals versions and love them all. Wish Glendalough would continue to push out a variety of gins!
Brita,
This gin is really special! I’ve tasted many and this one is one of my favorites. I love the botanical flavors and the clean finish. Yum!
Michael,
I like gin, ever since I was a bartender years ago. My favorite was Tanqueray with an occasional Beefeater for mixing, but my first bottle of Glendalough Wild Botanical is so amazing that I may never share it! Thanks so much for allowing me the opportunity of becoming a member of Flaviar!
Matt,
Hands down the best gin I’ve tasted. Fresh, different and super smooth. The first gin that I feel I could really sip by itself. Even if you’re not generally a gin person give this one a try.
