Glencraig is the name given to whisky distilled in the Lomond still at the Glenburgie distillery. This was distilled on the 11th June 1976, matured for 30 years in bourbon barrel number 4251 before bottling by Signatory on the 10th May 2007. A cask strength whisky, part of an outturn of 219 individually numbered decanter bottles.

Can Scotch go bad? Technically, an unopened bottle of Scotch can last forever. Air is the only true evil to Whisky; once the liquid is oxidized it is no longer immortal. After opening, as long as you store your Whisky in a cool, dry place, it will last another 5 years.
Beer and malt Whisky seem to have quite a bit in common. Both drinks begin with malted barley, which deliver the enzymes and sugars needed for fermentation when steeped in hot water. The two go their separate ways at the wash stage, where they're fermented or aged to become the adult beverages you know and love.
