Character Goatson
The Glen Garioch distillery was founded in 1797 by the Manson brothers. It is located in Oldemldrum, a small town in the Highlands famous for producing the finest barley in all of Scotland.

The Glen Garioch distillery is one of the oldest and estern-most distilleries in Scotland. Glen Garioch is specialised in "handcrafted" Scotch that is never chill filtered.

A hard to find 21 year old expression of Glen Garioch is full of thick and malty sensation.

Beer and malt Whisky seem to have quite a bit in common. Both drinks begin with malted barley, which deliver the enzymes and sugars needed for fermentation when steeped in hot water. The two go their separate ways at the wash stage, where they're fermented or aged to become the adult beverages you know and love.
Is Scotch always Scottish? What do you think? Yes. The answer is yes.
In 1982, Glen Garioch became the first distillery ever to use North Sea gas for heating.
Can Scotch go bad? Technically, an unopened bottle of Scotch can last forever. Air is the only true evil to Whisky; once the liquid is oxidized it is no longer immortal. After opening, as long as you store your Whisky in a cool, dry place, it will last another 5 years.
Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made in Scotland using a pot still distillation process at a single distillery, with malted barley as the only grain ingredient. It must be matured in oak casks in Scotland for at least three years (most Single Malts are matured longer, though).
In November 1972, Glen Garioch released its first single malt in 180 years. Previously the Whisky was used in blends like VAT 69, Grant's Standfast, Bell's and Drambuie liqueur.
