I love all of the spice notes in this Tennessee Whiskey. The cinnamon and vanilla are easy to pick out. It sits nicely on the back of the tongue way after drinking it.
Liquid Flintstones vitamins! Nobody can say they can't smell their favorite childhood vitamins and the taste of them comes through first. It finishes delicious with caramel apples. Nice and smooth.
This has quickly become a favorite whiskey, and I enjoy it better than many Bourbons! Great caramel foundation, but playful spice on top...and, apparently it’s a favorite among the pottery community near me. A classy bottle with character.
Very oaky and complex. Leaps and bounds better than Jack Daniels. I haven’t picked up on the flintstone vitamin taste that some people pick up on. Good on ice and if you are in the mood for a highball goes well with Dr Pepper and a dash of bitters.
If you haven't tried this .....get it. It's well worth it. Originally got this as a birthday gift for my father in law because he's a Dickel fan but wanted to try it before to make sure it was worth while. I'm now on my third bottle. I plan to keep a jug of this on hand and in the regular sippin rotation.
Not impressed. Maybe as an every day, quick sip, kinda drink, but not what I would drink when I'm ready to sit back and enjoy and nice pour with a premium cigar.
I like it. Better than last years edition. Very bold flavor profile with not as much of the Flintstone Vitamin taste that Dickel is known for. I found it for $44 dollars which I thought was fair for an 11 year old BIB. A drop of water or two will soften it a bit if that is your thing. Recommended.
Its not my favorite but its not bad either, good sipper, does have a slight Flintstone vitamin after taste, but has a great nose and price is great for 11yrs old.
Rye heavy mashbill. Yet still smooth with vanilla and a slight coffee bitterness. Fresh spring water with the minerals. Feels like drinking cough drops with how sticky it is. Sour raspberries.
Amazing flavors, easy to drink and smooth as silk. Definitely going to buy another bottle...two actually one for me and one for my father in law who is a big Dickel fan.
A perfectly balanced sour mash Tennessee whiskey. Exceptionally smooth with a saltiness that intrigues your taste buds, making them beg for another splash. Best enjoyed neat or with a single rock.
Was my go to for a couple of years, lately I’ve explored many different bourbons, some are smoother, some sweeter, a lot of them I love and keep in my liquor cabinet.
At the end of the day I come back to number 12, it’s unique flavor profile is addictive to me. Spicy, sweet, smoky, a little punchy and priced right.
Was interested to taste the difference between this and Jack as both are described as Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskeys...This is not as unique as Jack and it has a taste that makes it seem cheaply made, especially when taste testing with other like-whiskeys. GAD would need to be a mixed drink for me.
