John
John,
A good medium priced rye that goes down smoothly and mixes well.

A GOOD SOLID RYE TO MIX WITH....

Jason
Jason,
Good inexpensive rye.

Alec
Alec,
Outrageous maple, vanilla, and cream flavor. Really outstandingly smooth flavor. Very sweet which might put some people off but still absolutely fantastic in my eyes.

Normally drink Macallan. Tried Dickel Rye and fell in love with it! Wonderful substitute for the MUCH MUCH more expensive Macallan! Nice everyday/before bed drinker. $23.00 per bottle in my local.

Robert
Robert,
Being my first Rye whisky I do not have anything to really compare it to. It was smooth neat and had good character with a bit of water added. Good starting point for me to try more Ryes in the future.

Eric
Eric,
I truly don't understand why this is rated so low (6 at the time of writing). This is a very smooth, rather inexpensive rye that has a desirable replay value on the tongue.

Cédric
Cédric,
It is way behind Rittenhouse 100. I am surprised Flaviar does not list "dill" the description, it is the first thing that jumps on the nose, too much in my opinion

Daniel
Daniel,
Good solid rye, great in cocktails or neat. But definitely not $34 around here; I can pick it up for under $30...

Solid Rye for a solid price. Great for old fashioned or neat

THis stuff is fantastic. I moved to Nashville a year ago and found Dickel #12. I use Dickel's rye for Mahatten's and Old Fashioneds. Or drink it neat late at night around the fireplace.

I actually just picked up a bottle to try last night, and I must say, it was excellent. I have been a bourbon drinker and this was my first foray into rye. It's definitely something I'll keep on hand. George Dickel's Old No. 12 is already on my must have list. It has a flavor that can't be beat for the price.

I would love to try it but no job so there for no scotch. I will one day. Thanks for the email
