The classic Bourbon from Garrison Brothers gets an upgrade.

We love all the hard-toiled, passionate, craft distillers of the world. But the Garrison Brothers stand out in that crowd a bit taller than most. They don’t farm out anything. Every step from cooking the mash to bottling happens right there on-site at their distillery in Hye, Texas. They make Bourbon in a range of ages and finishes, but it all started with the famous barrel #6 that yielded their signature Texas Bourbon Whiskey.

Garrison Brothers Guadalupe Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey is their most refined Bourbon up to now. It was aged for 4 years in toasted and charred American white oak barrels. Nothing new here, this is basically the recipe for their iconic Texas Straight Bourbon. The additional magic happens in 2 more years spent in Port Wine barrels, imported from Portugal. In Guadalupe, creamy butteriness pairs great with a sweet, spicy finish that will floor even the most demanding connoisseur. If you’re a chocolate lover, too, feel free to nibble on those cacao-forward tabs while sipping.

"Remember that iconic poster from World War II showing Rosie the Riveter as a patriotic American woman doing her part for the war effort? Well, hundreds of businesses did their part too, and the Bourbon distillers stepped right up with ‘em.

Distilleries all over Kentucky and Tennessee were re-tooled to distill fuel alcohol and ferment penicillin cultures to treat wounded soldiers."
