— I'm not really a Scotch drinker - but have tried several. This is my favorite thus far... so smooth, and almost creamy caramel sweet... but not overpowering sweet... just subtle and smooth.. I've come back for a 2nd bottle. My husband is the Scotch drinker - he loves it.
— Not as favorable as I expected. However, not as rough. either. Spicy and warmer....a bit of honey... good in the fall and winter

I rated it very high because it is very similar to the “original” Cardhu. It has a very distinctive taste. When a small amount of water is added to the dram it just makes it bloom.
Better than I thought it would be. Get past the gimmicky marketing name, and it is a decent and smooth (no smoke) scotch to have on hand. Great price point, too.
This scotch is an easy drinker, especially for the price.
No no no it is not smooth it tastes like wood and just doesn't have good flavor.
A touch sweeter than my liking, a good Scotch though.
This is my favorite everyday whisky and I always have a bottle in the house. For me, it beats out bottles twice its value. If I'm honest, I look forward to when they run out of the Game of Thrones bottles because I think it makes the whisky look less desirable to someone who has never given it a go.
Fun gimmicky name, decent whisky
Excellent single malt. Smooth finish and a pleasant after taste. Would recommend for those who like a Glennmorangie

Not in my top 5, but not bad either. I like to have this one with a bit of water added to mellow it out just a bit

Nice single malt with a great Carmel Apple bite.
Smooth and enjoyable from nose to finish. Red apple, oak, and a nutty finish round it out quite nicely. Would recommend to someone delving into Scotch and not a fan of the peaty and smoky malts.
Not my favorite scotch. Lot of honey on the nose and the initial palate, but finishes with more spice/clove taste. Adding water brought out a little more apple
Really enjoyed this bottle for the price. Nice complex flavor, relatively smooth, enjoyed better with 1 ice cube rather than neat.
unremarkable but easily drinkable and not a bad price. Have not tried the cardhu 12 at the time of this review. light, red apples and honey with a mild spiced finish. nice for my collection, but wouldn't drink this regularly.
Visually- nice amber color
Nose- reminds me of a red wine. Definite oak and cherry.
Mouth feel is oily. Slight burn, not too much.
Not much taste initially with a medicinal aftertaste. Adding water brings out taste but I am not a fan of it.
Mellow and light. A really nice casual sipping scotch. Also as a Targaryen myself, I LOVE the bottling.
This is a really lively scotch - not sticky sweet - it really jumps around. Sweet caramel apples mellowing into smooth honey with a lingering spice and oak finish - just like the picture. I can pummel this whiskey and not feel guilty because its under 50 bucks, even here in NY. Everyone keeps talking about collections; I don't know how you make this last a week, let alone put it on a shelf.
My wife loved it
Strong Honey taste, with subtle spice and herbal afternotes. This Scotch is a must to any collection
Strong, herbal punch with a biting aftertaste. Definitely taste the oak. Not as sweet as the House Stark selection.
Cardhu never fails me. Very smooth. Not smoky or peaty in my opinion.
Not bad...the 6th I’ve tried of the 8.
nice light scotch, great for the beginner .
Nice and smooth for a gold reserve
My favorite GoT single malt. It’s smooth and tastes great neat.
Love the sweetness on the palette and finish. Took me forever to find a bottle - and may never again... Thanks, Flaviar! I've never tasted Cardhu before, but if this is an indication of their quality - I will definitely be trying other expressions from them. 9/10
If you find it. Buy it.
Really enjoyable, best served neat in my opinion. The bloody only comes out at room temperature!
Fair, but a bit light in the flavor pallete
Really smooth and a little sweet, an overall excellent whisky.
I LOVE this whisky. Smooth, warm, sophisticated and goes down like silk. The perfect by-the-fire dram.
