mark,
Like other bottleings, this is still totally Taslisker with that agressive taste profile you likely either love or hate. The smoke is lighter than the 10yr.

Lucas
Lucas,
No one I’ve shared this with could stomach it. Made me actually sick.

Adam
Adam,
Very Greyjoy. I’m a big Talisker fan, and I was intrigued by the 9 year life of this one compared to the traditional 10. The latter wins, but this is still an excellent scotch, and I prefer it over the Talisker Storm. Now get out to Skye for some views!

Ryan
Ryan,
I recognized quite a bit of complexity, but I can't taste much over the smoke and brine. This seems perfectly fitting for a Greyjoy, but it's just not my thing.

Burton
Burton,
Probably the best of the GOT series. A must try. A balance of notes of melons, brine and light smoke.

Brian
Brian,
It has a good underlying flavor, but the smokey flavor overpowers everything. It's like eating a fistful of ash.

David
David,
Really enjoyable.

Alex,
What I like to see in a scotch and an excellent tribute to the drowned god. If you like smoky and peated scotches from the Islay region like I do this one’s for you!

Todd
Todd,
The aroma has a lot going on, some salty, citrus, musty, with some pepper and burn as well. Flavor is good and complex, if I knew more about Scotch I could probably describe it better, it's briny, doesn't seem peaty or smokey - peppery as well. A dash of water doesn't seem to change things. It's quite interesting, and will need to give it a second chance to see if I can pick up anything more flavor wise.

Mark
Mark,
Nice smoke and spice, but a little one-dimensional. It's about what I remember from when I tried Storm. I would need to taste it next to another Talisker to figure out any differences.

Liz
Liz,
I’m just not a fan of this smoke show. Give me ten years and I will probably like it.

Robert
Robert,
Nice amber color in line with other Talisker whiskies. Aroma of sea and smoke, exactly what I would expect from the Greyjoys. Smoky pepper taste with salty vanilla aftertaste. Adding a few drops of water really brings out the salt air. Wonderful stuff from the Iron Isla..., erm the Isle of Skye.

Duane
Duane,
Great offering from the GOT series. Not as complex as other Talisker. Light smoke and peat layer over saltwater taffy. Tasty!

Michihiro
Michihiro,
Not as layered and deep in flavor as other selections of Talisker but still captures that classic sea water and brine taste with heavy smoke and for the price it’s a steal

Michael
Michael,
Such a great Smokey scotch

Likely my favorite of the dozen or so single malts I've had, so much so Ive got half the shops near me looking for a bottle for me.

Jasson
Jasson,
Love it. Got my hands on 5 of the 8 Game of Thrones single-malts in Atlanta. This dram is smokey (like the Talisker you know). Salty, of course (Greyjoy territory!). And the finish is and outstanding rich, smokey caramel breath. Get this immediately if you enjoy your peat.
