A botanical-infused Vodka with bright, fruit-forward profile and kick of ginger to spice up the party.

The original Glasgow Distillery Company operated from 1770 through about 1902, falling to the great Whisky recession that saw many a distillery shutter their doors. The current iteration was founded in 2012 by Liam Hughes, Ian McDougall, and Mike Hayward with production beginning in 2014. They have expanded to produce a wide range of Spirits from Single Malts to Gin and everything in between. And they recently received financing to expand production even further and bring their products to Asia and North America.

What is the best way to describe G52 Botanical Vodka Fresh Citrus? We gave this a lot of thought… so, take a moment and imagine a beautifully crafted, citrus-forward Gin with a bright flavor profile. But this one doesn’t have any juniper. It’s all fruit and florals and no savory or pine.

The botanicals include grapefruit, lemon, limes, oranges, rose hips, and ginger. We think it’s great with just a dash of soda and a twist. But you can use it as a base for just about any Vodka or Gin Spirit for a refreshing update on the classics.

Vodka can be made anywhere in the world and pretty much of any ingredient that contains starch.

For a potato-based Vodka, 12kg (26.5lbs) potatoes are needed to produce a single bottle.
Seems that Vodka is a lightweight—quite literally. This clear Spirit actually weighs less than water. One liter of water weighs 1,000 grams, while the same amount of Vodka only clocks in at 953 grams.
Unlike its boozy brethren Bourbon and Scotch, Vodka can be made anywhere in the world. But it’s Eastern Europe that gets the credit for its birth. Just don’t ask Russia and Poland to get to the bottom of it—both argue that they masterminded the Spirit first.
You won't impress the bartender by ordering Vodka-soda, but it's a good choice if you want to avoid unecessary sugar intake and make sure you stay hydrated when consuming alcohol.
It looks like potato chips and flavored Vodka are two things where the producers unleash their imagination. Bubble gum, fresh cut grass, pumpkin pie, marshmallow, and coconut water hardly begin to describe the many flavors of Vodka.
The Glasgow Distillery Co. is the only Metropolitan Distillery in Scotland producing Scotch Whisky
