Top reviews for Frey Ranch Straight Bourbon Whiskey:

― Very unique. Leaves you wanting more.

― I first tried this bourbon when visiting my parent’s in Dayton Nevada. The local liquor store swore by it being that it was a local distillery out of Nevada. We bought a bottle and were blown away how smooth it was with excellent flavor. Price has gone up due to popularity and I have only found it at a Whole Foods in California where I live. Worth the blind purchase.

― This is a smooth, sweeter whiskey that drinks very nicely with a cube or two.

Appearance / Color

Nose / Aroma / Smell
Four-grain Bourbons tend to have a complex nose, so expect to find a wide range of fruits with mountain cherries, sourdough bread, vanilla, oak, and turbinado.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
The palate opens with a solid, velvety mouth-feel with a drying sensation over notes of tostones, cranberries, grain spices, baked granola, and vanilla.

The finish is long, warm, and a bit dry on the back palate.
