Excellent. Great with a coconut/pineapple mixer
It is a very good, complex, Dark Rum that has a rich & aromatic birth; while a dry & full life leads to a long & tropical death with notes of toasted banana, walnut, dark chocolate., oak, leather & smoke.
I liked that it wasn't as sweet as many times tend to be. Left room for other tastes. As a sipper the end just falls off the edge of the table, almost completely disappears. Makes an outstanding rum & coke but not practical at this price point.
This one took some time for me to appreciate, but what a delicious rum. I love that it's free of color and flavor additives. It's a pure/dry rum with an incredible amount of depth. On the palate it's pure oak with a hint of caramel and vanilla. With a drop of water or a small ice cube, delicious toasted banana and vanilla notes come out. A pure sipping rum that bourbon and scotch lovers could easily get into.
One of the best rums I have tried! Great for enjoying it on the rocks or just neat!
Amazing! I usually drink it neat with an ice cube and orange peel. Love it!
Great for mixing drinks
Exquisite taste and aroma. My favorite drink is on the rocks. Super recommended
Spectacular rum! Enjoy it on the rocks or just neat.
Starts with a very light, silky nose. It’s a very mellow caramel taste with a stronger chocolate finish. It’s good, and extremely smooth, but I had thought there would be more to it.
great for sipping or in a cocktail!
I though this smelled very fresh and citrusy, with loads of lemon notes and some vanilla.
Quite fruity on the palate too but this just didn't really impress. Much better rums out there at this price point.
My single favorite rum. I love this one so much. a perfect sipping rum and because of the price you're not bothered mixing it in a little cola with alot of lime. So so very good for such an amazing prize. I have a bottle opened and unopened always.
Never makes a bad drink and never leaves sorry in the morning. Easy going down on the rocks too
One of the best rums I have tasted
Smells and tastes like straight rubbing alcohol. Not good.
Caramel and a hint of tropical fruits on the nose, dry and a little spicy on the tongue with a not very lasting finish. Pretty decent but nothing exceptional in any way
At the 18’s price point, this is the best rum by flor de Cana. The 25 has more flavor but it’s over priced. It’s just not a $100 a bottle better rum! Go with the 18, it’s delicious and so smooth.
Very complex. Excellent straight or on the rocks.
Sweet but enough bite to drink alone. No ice? No problem.
I love this rum. Only slightly sweet with a touch of cinnamon. Half a shot every night is a perfect way to end the day.
Not as smooth as I thought it would be. OK, but I've had better.
Discovered on a beach in Mexico!
Oh my gosh! The best rum I've had prior to this was Sailor Jerry. That swill is rubbish compared to this! The best part is it's not overly sweet. What a find!
This was very very smooth. My wife can't really drink anything straight up. But this, she could. It was smooth without being meek and mild. Lots of velvet flavor. Definitely a favorite now, we will be keeping this stocked. Thank you for introducing us to this one.
Very smooth. Not overly sweet.
I just received this in the mail and was anxious to try it. Very smooth with a nice sweetness with similar in Carmel and orange on the tongue and an Oak nose. This makes a very nice sipping rum and I would highly recommend it
Very smooth rum. Not a hard alcohol taste. Almost certainly a nice aroma, no sting to the aromatics.
Got decently hammered.
