Better for the planet, better for the palate.

Crop Harvest Earth distillery, based in Minnesota, is all about being green. They produce their spirits in such a way that they comply with the strictest standards set for organic certification in the US and EU. They claim that this approach in not only better for the planet, but also better for the flavour of the drinks they make. All the ingredients used in the production are grown on a land free of chemical pesticides and fertilizers. What’s more, the distillate produced from organic grain has a remarkably clean character and a super crisp, delicate taste. The purity is achieved through column distillation, which extracts the taint and unwanted flavours. No wonder their products are winning fans and awards left and right, leaving their non-green competitors only green with envy.

They exhibited their dedication to sustainability and excellence in Farmers Organic Gin as well. This artisan juniper-based beauty is handcrafted in small batches from organically grown grain infused with an ingenious selection of swank botanicals. Making awesome Gin is a test by itself, but sticking to your principles while you’re at it, is especially challenGINg. This American bad boy is bottled at 46,7 % ABV, which means it is a beautiful cocktail spirit, but you can be damn sure, it has the character to stand on its own. Give it a chance, it’s only natural.

** Farmer's has recently changed their labels, and as the original labels are being phased out, there is still a chance that you might receive a bottle different than what is pictured. But rest assured, the liquid remains the same, regardless of the label.

Flavor Spiral TM
About the Flavor Spiral
What does Farmer's Small Batch Organic Gin taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Farmer's Small Batch Organic Gin and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

It’s a common myth that Gin is a tear-jerker. Of course, drinking too much of it will make you feel awful the next day, but that’s the same with any alcohol.
How much Tonic is in a Gin & Tonic? The ideal proportions for a perfect Gin & Tonic is one part Gin and two parts Tonic.
Hardcore Gin lovers say the word Martini should never be preceded by Vodka, lobster, or pomegranate. They say the original and the only real Martini consists of Gin, Vermouth & olives, period!
Few Gin distillers make their own alcohol. Gin usually starts with neutral Spirit: A commodity that distillers buy in bulk. It’s what the distiller does with this commodity in the flavor-infusing process that makes each Gin different.
London Dry Gin is not always from London. Gin does not have the same geographical restrictions as Spirits such as Cognac, Scotch, or Tequila. Only a tiny handful of London Dry Gins are actually made in the city.
As producers try to develop new styles and flavors of Gin, to push the category and find a niche, the need for trying new methods of extracting flavors, as well as using more unusual botanicals, has grown.

One such way is the vacuum distillation method, when the redistillation of botanicals takes place in a vacuum.
