Member Reviews and Ratings of Evan Williams White Label
Great value for the money. Doesn’t stand up to whiskeys $5-10 more, but for under $20 you can’t go wrong. Sweet, maple, light red fruit, nutty, little bit of spice. Pallet matches the nose pretty well. Not the “smoothest” but that should be expected for proof and price point. I prefer neat, but would be fine on ice and can’t go wrong as a mixer. For $15-20 this is hard to beat. One of my go to “end of the night” pours.
One of my favorites for Old Fashioned cocktails. I like how the overproof still stands out when I make different variations. Just enough wood without being too smokey and not too sweet.
It will get you there. Imagine you are trying to get to Los Angeles. You can either take a Tesla or a Honda Accord. Both will get you to LA. This is just the ride in the Honda.
Surprisingly good for the price point. I prefer it with ice to smooth it out a bit.
Not bad for a budget. A bit thin for me
You can't beat the value. You can find this anywhere for under $20. You can drink this everyday neat, on the rocks, or as a mixer and feel like you're getting a great whiskey without going broke.
The best expression of bottled in bond that you can get for under $20. Fantastic neat, on the rocks, or as a mixer.
Excellent for the price. A very tasty drinkable 100 proof. A maple aroma and taste
Great inexpensive everyday sipper.
I assume the white label is the BIB and if so it is a cheap everyday little sipper.
Nutty for days. Peanut butter lingers on the finish. Not complex, but nice.
I like but I prefer a little more sweetness
This is my staple for mixed drinks and general aquaintances.
My favorite value bourbon on the market and my new every day drinker. Definitely on the sweeter side with a dose of peanut butter and butterscotch and a surprisingly succulent mouth feel that lingers just long enough. Unabashed one-trick pony that exceeds in conquering my taste buds. I am in love.
Absolutely one of my favorite inexpensive ones. Very nutty, sweet, a must have in any bar.
Good budget option. Traditional bourbon nosing and tasting notes. Flavors are somewhat more subdued than higher proof, more aged options. However this is good and enjoyable, especially for its price.
This is my everyday drinker. Not afraid to share and can be found everywhere. Probably the best bargain bourbon out there. Very versatile.
Black label tastes much better. The extra alcohol kills the flavor profile.
For the price this stands out to me. Great flavor slightly sweet however it does pack a nice punch.
Had that classicEvan Williams sweetness, with a little more oak and a little more bite than the black label. So good for the price.
Great budget whiskey. Lovely flavors for sipping or mixing.
Middle of the road bourbon. Good for mixing, tastes like average bourbon.
Cheap, but with a nice flavor! I use this whiskey when the guests are demanding Manhattans.
Consistent for the price. A little harsh on the mouthfeel
Sweet up front, mild burn, nutty finish. Not too bad; $15-$18 / bottle and it's a BIB offering so you know you're getting a four-year bourbon. Real, real hard to beat at that price range. You could do a lot worse for a daily drinker.
Very Sweet, spicy...a little harsh but overall relatively balanced for the proof. At $15 bucks a bottle for the price it's an incredible deal. Great mixer and decent sipper with a few drops of water or on the rocks
