A Midnight Snack fit for The King.

Grain & Barrel Spirits is a trailblazing powerhouse of innovation, forging ahead to connect the world's best artisans with thirsty consumers worldwide, all from their HQ in Charleston, South Carolina. And now, they’ve decided to treat all the die-hard fans of The King, launching their masterpiece, fittingly called "Elvis Whiskey." CEO Matti Anttila said it was a total no-brainer to honor the icon with a top-shelf Whiskey line. After all, they're massive fans themselves, and what better way to pay homage to the legend than by doing what they do best? The labels also feature notable nods to Presley, including an iconic photo of The King in his prime, his signature, and the letters "TCB" emblazoned on the bottle neck, a nod to his famous catchphrase "Taking Care of Business" that inspired Elvis and his Memphis Mafia.

Midnight Snack refers to one particularly decadent meal, said to be dreamed up by The King of Rock & Roll himself. Picture this: peanut butter, banana, and bacon grease all sandwiched together. Yum, right? Rumor has it that Elvis' cook, Pauline Nicholson, was the mastermind behind this sinful delight (and we think a thank you might be in order). Grain & Barrel Spirits cooked up a liquid Midnight Snack Whiskey that offers a hunka-hunka burning love for the ultimate indulgent flavor trio. Y’know. If you need more than a sandwich to satisfy your cravings.

Bourbon rules refer to manufacturing methods rather than location. Bourbon must be matured in new and charred American white oak casks for at least 2 years. If the bottle has no age statement, the Bourbon is at least 4 years old. No coloring or flavoring of any type is allowed, and the mash bill must contain at least 51% corn.
Rye Whiskey is made from mash that is at least 51 percent rye. The grain gives Rye Whiskey its spicy, sometimes peppery, and bitter flavor. It was a big seller before Prohibition, and after decades in obscurity, it’s fashionable again. Fun fact: George Washington distilled Rye Whiskey at Mount Vernon.
An un-aged American Whisky is often called “white dog.”Sour Mash is the fermentation process by which a percentage of a previous fermentation is added to a new batch as a "starter" to get the fermentation going and maintain a level of consistency from batch to batch. A sweet mash means that only fresh yeast is added to a new batch to start fermentation.
Moonshine Whiskey is distilled from a varied mix of corn and sugar and is aged in Mason jars and jugs for the length of time it takes the customers to get home.
Tennessee Whiskey closely parallels Bourbon, but final filtering through sugar-maple charcoal (called the Lincoln County Process) is what some producers say differentiates them. Tennessee Whiskey’s finish is sweeter and smoother than Bourbon.
