I love the vanilla that comes out right away but this is also well balanced with honey sweetness and oak as well. Complex and balanced and very approachable. I need more!
Nose: pastries, brown sugar, toast, butter and jam.
Palate: very relaxed and sweet, seems like it has a low rye presence. Bananas, brown sugar, a touch of cinnamon and vanilla.
Quick finish. Maybe this is a tad overhyped? It's good, but considering the rarity, I thought it would be more memorable.
Easy to drink. Starts wonderful on the nose and finishes with smooth a full and complex flavor profile. One of my favorites. Thanks dad for telling about this!
ETL is about as smooth as you can get while drinking Neat. The subtle caramels and oaks linger long after you swallow. Easily one of my favorite pours.
Still my favorite bourbon. Butterscotch and caramel in the beginning with oak at the end. It's my favorite bourbon to drink neat. Wish it wasn't so hard to find.
Probably the smoothest, most delicious expression of American bourbon I’ve ever tasted. We were gifted a bottle that had belonged to a friend’s cheating ex, which may have also improved the flavor. I never would have considered spending that much on a bourbon (normally a Scotch person) but this converted me. Superb. Like sipping Kentucky sunshine.
Really great bourbon! Honestly had never heard of it before a buddy bought me a bottle... very thankful he gifted it to me and as I try to search for another one I realized how great of a gift it was! Hopefully either he or I can get our hands on more because I am already almost out. Thanks Tony D!
