— Smokey and awesome

— First time drinking Mezcal (not Tequila) and really enjoy the Smokey flavor aftertaste. Such a good change from the bite of tequila’s around the same price range. Very similar to a peaty Scotch like Lagavulin or Ardbeg.

Robert
Robert,
More Tequila than Mezcal to me. Some smoky undertones, but the finish left a lot to be desired. Compared to a bottle like El Silencio, the El Rey was just not very tasty.
