― Absolutely love this rum. This is the ONLY rum I can sip neat or on the rocks, and enjoy it as much as a good whiskey. You can mix it, but I recommend savoring it straight. It’s lightly sweet, feels oaky like a Chardonnay, drinks like a smooth bourbon, and finishes with some generous vanilla notes. Try it, you won’t regret it! (Also, big thanks to Flaviar. I’ve spent time in Guyana and it’s not the easiest run to find in the States, so it’s refreshing to have it readily available through Flaviar. Now, if only I could find the El Dorado white rims as readily...)
