― This is by far my favorite scotch whiskey.

― I think this is the first time the flavor wheel was exactly what I experienced. Nose was that sherry scent I love and look for, the first part of the palate is nutty and spicy leaning towards a rye, then you get the sherry and sweet tastes. Finish was shorter than I wanted though. Great whisky, a must try for anyone who likes sherry casked whisky.

Nose / Aroma / Smell
On the nose we found lots of butterscotch and honey notes followed by toasted oak, medjool, and warm brioche.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
The palate is rich, soft, and velvety on the tongue with notes of melted butter, honeyed biscuits, juicy blackberry, more fig, sultana, marzipan, and toffee pudding.

Finish
The finish is long and blooms with a nice baking spice at the end.
