Dry Fly Straight Washington Bourbon 101
Aaron,
Yeah it's a bit hot, tastes hotter than a 50% ABV IMO, but that's not the issue for me, it can always be cut with a few drops of water. I think it has a slight nutty vibe, and I just can't appreciate a nuttiness in bourbon. That, for me, makes it something I won't buy again.

Fruity, and floral nose. Then some sweetness and nice spice to balance the flavors. Finishes smooth. Nice and refreshing to sip neat.

Awesome flavor for the price.
Dry Fly Dry Gin
Joshua,
A pleasant, not-too herbal gin. Good for mixing, if not so amazing to sip straight from the bottle.

guest,
Give this a second try. I wasn’t a fan after one glass. I even dropped some water in it to lighten the proof. I returned a week later to find a very good sippable high proof bourbon that was filled with life.

Kevin,
Spicy and tasty. A little potent, but full of life.
Dry Fly Cask Strength Straight Wheat Whiskey
Vincent,
Rich and flavorful wheat whiskey - not as rough around the edges as you'd expect from a 3 year cask strength spirit. Punches above its price class...

Josh,
Decent finish but you can taste how young this whiskey is. I'll be ready to try it when it is 6-8 years old

Dry Fly Straight Triticale Whiskey
Matthew,
Color is amber. Nose starts with rye complexity, though not the black pepper spiciness of true rye. Underneath are sweet notes of buttery wheat and a floral/earthy note. First sip starts with the buttered toast of true wheat whiskey, however, it is quickly followed by a complex aroma of floral notes, vanilla, and an array of spices that don't really fall into the black pepper or baking spice category. Mouthfeel is on the oily side, which goes well with the buttery flavor. Finish is a mild extension of the spice. Overall a nice, unique flavor. It would be very interesting to see what happens to a higher proof and/or longer aged expression.

Alfie,
Quite dry with an amazing warm finish down the throat. Not too enjoyable as a sipping bourbon, but quite delicious after a hard day's work.

Matthew,
Color is a deep amber. Nose: A little bit of oak, a little slightly sweet fruit that I can't pinpoint. First sip: Strong oak with a good note of toasted bread. Finish: Savory, almost like the butter for the bread, as well as a good amount of cinnamon. Quick but powerful on the tongue. Not sweet like a Bourbon, but also not dry either. Overall this lacks a little complexity, which makes sense given the relatively young age and 100% wheat Mashbill, but the flavors that are present are more than sufficient to make this a nice change of pace that is still recognizable as American Whiskey with the oak and spice.

Corey,
Nice sweet nose. Up front I enjoyed the vanilla/caramel but felt the heat came on too soon and harsh even for a 101--is more reminiscent of the Dry Fly 120 proof wheated whiskey. The finish lingers but there was an off apple flavor in the finish that detracts from the rest of the bourbon.

Daryl,
The flavor spiral is pretty much dead on. Not my favorite, but enjoyable.

Charles,
Not a bad taste. Never had anything like this. Art first night a strong hint of any underline flavors. But once you go for the second, everything catches up to you. It really does. Smooth as silk. Love it. Willing to try others from Dry Fly.

Dry Fly Straight Washington Bourbon 101
Matt,
I really enjoyed it. Very smooth. Would never had guessed it was 101 had I not known. Mildly complex but I’m really not sure I would pay that when others are just as good (and yes better) for less. Lower the price point and it’s even better! Given a chance I’d certainly grab a dram down the road. 🤙
