All about Dry Fly

Dry Fly product range includes Vodka, Gin, Whiskey and Bourbon.

Where some small shops outsource everything, reducing their business model to that of repackaging and marketing operations, Dry Fly Distilling is anti-that.

They control every aspect of the process; from sourcing 99% local ingredients from other local craft producers, to hand making everything else in their shop. They even hand-bottle all of their products on-site.

Not bad for a couple of corporate marketing refugees who combine forces to become the first licensed distillers in Washington since prohibition.

All about Dry Fly distillery

Dry Fly Distilling was established in 2007, by two friends who’d had a brainwave while fly fishing in a river in the Pacific Northwest; they wanted to create a new way to celebrate the natural beauty of Washington state.

Today, Dry Fly Distilling produces a number of wheat based Spirits including a Gin (and a barrel-aged version), a Vodka, a number of Whiskeys and a Bourbon. The company sources its ingredients from local farms in Eastern Washington.

Sustainability, as well as provenance, is important to the brand; a farm to bottle – or grass to grain – producer, they use only grains from within a thirty-mile radius of the distillery to make their base Spirits, and botanicals from within the state. Using state of the art equipment (including a German-made pot still) and traditional methods, it’s clear that Dry Fly Distilling do not take shortcuts to compromise on product quality.
