Dictador RumDictador Rum

Founded in 1913
The history of the Dictador brand goes back to 1751 when Severo Arango y Ferro arrived to Cartagena, where his power would soon earn him the nickname of Dictador.

More than a century later, in 1913, Don Julio Arango y Parra, a descendant of the Dictador established Destileria Colombiana.

The main Dictador range comprises a selection of solera aged Rums of varying ages.

More recently, the company has released a series of young, 100 month straight aged Rums and a series of long-aged single cask bottlings.

What does Dictador taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavours that you'll taste in Dictador rum and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.
