Dictador started as a sugar cane trade establishment in Colombia back in the end of 18th century. They started to make and age their rum in early 19th century and have been doing and perfecting their trade ever since and became one of the leading Rum brands on the southern hemisphere.
 
This limited bottling of from Dictador's ""Best of"" series is distilled in 1979 and aged for 36 long years before it was ready for bottling. If Escobar was keen on Rum well this is what he was drinking…
