Character Goatson
Hernan Parra, Master Distiller at Dictador, had a brilliant idea: take the precious 1974 vintage and send it to six carefully selected masters of distilling/winemaking and give them a mission: Finish the Rum in something special and create a mindblowing story. This expression travelled to Scotland where it received a 14-month long finish in a Glenfarclas 1992 forth-fill Hoghshead Sherry Cask. Imagine the classiest oldtimer that smells of high-quality leather and cigars, and tastes like absolute heaven. If you could bottle the jet-set lifestyle of the Golden Era, this masterpiece would be it.

Character Dogson
Soon after founder Severo Arango y Ferro arrived to Cartagena, his power earned him the nickname of Dictador. After falling in love with Rum, he became the most important trader of the Caribbean elixir for the entire Cartagena area.
You might find Rum masquerading itself under other nom de plumes, like Ron, Rom and Rhum.
Dictador is one of the World’s most awarded Rums.
Common Rum classifications: White, Golden or Amber, Dark, Spiced, Añejo and Age-Dated Rums.
A little bit of etymology; nobody really knows where the word Rum comes from. The most popular suggestions are Rum (the Romani word for 'potent'), Rumbullion (an uproar), Saccharum (sugar in Latin), and Rummer (a Dutch drinking glass).
Rum is a sugar cane based spirit, primarily made in the Caribbean and Latin America, but you can really find Rum in many corners of the world.
