What does Dewar's White Label taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Dewar's White Label and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

guest,
Its like drinking history, being one of the oldest blended Scotches. Aberfeldy is the base Scotch in the blend, I believe, and then a mix of a dozen or so grain whiskeys (from what the Whiskey Vault taught me. Their review is on YouTube). It's light, simple, and classic. Perfect for a cocktail and/or a simple drink. Nothing too complex, but sometimes that’s the perfect drink.

Dewar's white label is a go-to for me at most bars, as it's reliably tasty neat.

Decent for the price. Nothing out of the ordinary or special but decent taste.

Doug
Doug,
Honestly, this may be the worst smelling and tasting scotch I've ever had. It's repulsive.

Very smooth, starting of very sweet with minimal smoke and a hint of oak, lands very differently with hint of spice, vanilla and leather torches by peat.

Pretty good for the price.

Jon,
Too smokey

Dusty
Dusty,
Smooth with a lingering sweetness. The smokiness falls somewhere between not enough and just enough. Great for sharing en mass, but not as a parting gift.

Antti
Antti,
It is a good, rich, Blended Scotch by Aberfeldy Distillery from the Highlands & bottled by Dewar's. Up to 40 of the finest malt and grain whiskies are blended together to create this time honored blend. It has a sweet birth with notes of Oak, fresh grain & vanilla; while life adds notes of fruit & herbs; that leads to a medium death with notes of Scottish heather, honey, citrus, caramel & peat smoke,

Jamie
