Reviews and Tasting Notes

Appearance / Color
Bright gold.

Smell / Nose / Aroma
Luscious sweet, almost caramel-like scent with a hint of fruity sensations and just a whiff of fresh grass.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
The sweetness continues while a bit of spiciness kicks in. Some oranges and cereals are also present. The flavors keep on coming.

Finish
A warm, smooth long lasting finish that packs quite a lot of heat and complexity.

Michael
Michael,
Start from the beginning, nice appearance in wrapping. Bottle was safely shipped. Pop the cork, wafe it under my noise, no peat, but still good smell with caramel and fuit. Pour two over the rock, let it breathe, and another wafe under the nose. Now, there is caramel, spice, and fruit. Take first sip, definite burn around outer edge of front of tongue. (Mind you, I think jalepenos are hot). Second sip, burn didn't increase, nor decrease but stayed the same. As did the spice and fruit taste. Warm in the stomache, but not nauseatingly warm, a gentle, pleasing warm. The only thing this was missing was the taste of peat. It was similar to a Gentleman Jack in flavor, and warmth, but much smoother.
