Bottled for a good cause, this was released by Dalmore to help raise money for the River Dee, a popular Scottish salmon fishing river. They've also released bottles in honour of the rivers Tay, Tweed and Spey, and their aim is to raise up to £400,000 for each of the foundations.

About the Flavor Spiral
What does The Dalmore Dee Dram - The Rivers Collection 2011 taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in The Dalmore Dee Dram - The Rivers Collection 2011 and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

90% of all Scotch Whisky released in the market is a blend. That’s a hell of a lot.
The twleve-pointed stag is called the "royal stag" called "the caberfeidh." Colin Kintail of the Clan Mackenzie, saved the life of King Alexander II of Scotland in 1263, when he was charged by a stag. The grateful king awarded him lands, and the right to use the royal stag logo in the Mackenzie family crest.
First-class Whiskies are taxed not only by the state but also by the angels. This refers to the 4% of Whisky that evaporates from the barrels every year, a phenomenon known as the angel’s share.
A single bottle of Dalmor, from the "Trinitas" release, was the first bottle of Scotch Whisky to sell for more than $100,000.
90% of all Scotch Whiskies sold are Blends.
Scotch Whisky is seldom aged in new barrels. Bourbon and Tennessee Whiskey casks are usually used for maturation. In addition to that, Whisky is often matured or finished in various wine casks such as Sherry or Port.
