Very light yet well balanced. It is sweet and nutty at the front and finishes with smoky tail. Very highly recommended.
A bit smoky, with prune after-taste. Sweet.
Wonderful fruity and floral smell with a sweet taste. I don't get much, if any, smoke except on the aftertaste. I like this better than other Speyside single malts as it has a different, sweeter and lighter taste.
This has been my decanter whisky for the last few years now. Quite sweet and fruity, wouldn't classify it as being overly smoky. Some orange and caramel. The overall taste is a bit watery, but still good.
I loved this! Pear and apple on the nose. Flavors of smoked pear and leather with a sweet finish that lingers.
Smooth and balanced scotch
Spicy, slightly citrus, not smoky
A two-edged sword for Scotch lovers. Peat and sweet. Excellent for an introduction to the category while giving more experienced folks a focused look at what makes the genre special.
Light and floral with high honey flavour
Cragganmore is off the beaten path of the Spey Valley. Only those who have Spey in their blood dare venture through the untended paths, full of wolves and creatures of the bog, to reach this fabled distillery... Exaggerations aside, it may be in the Spey Valley, but Cragganmore boasts a fusion of honey and earthiness that is balanced and smooth. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to wander away from the three big Speysiders (Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, Macallan)
It had light smoke, which I liked, but a weird flavor hung with me from start to finish. Not sure if metallic is the right word, but the flavor reminded me of green olives, which I don't really like.
Flaviar's profile is spot on. Sweet + smoke (although I found the smoke to be well-integrated and not overpowering at all). This is a nice step up for someone who enjoys Speysides but wants to dabble in smoke without going to Islay or the Highlands.
I enjoyed it, but I don't think I'll be buying again.
Complex nose and taste. My favorite of the Speysides.
Sehr stechende Nase, vergleichsweise dünner Geschmack, alles in allem ok

Honey, smooth almost too smooth (low flavor)
Super sweet and a little Smokey. Great scotch for people who like bourbon.
A light hint of smoke along with some vanilla and some fruit. A pleasant dram.
Smooth and mild, but the smokey with that hint of chemically is just not my thing. I think it has a pleasing blend of complexity... just not my profile.
Orange zest is always a surprise for me because in a Whisky it just does not feel it should be included. But then I remember that tasting any whisky is a journey from the nose to the finish... and for me both should be long so it is not a sprint but a marathon.
Cragganmore delivers from the zesty herbs long breath of the nose to the Smoke on the lasting finish this journey is a pleasure and one that I enjoy repeating in every dram.
However you need to be patience as the real journey only starts after the 3rd or forth sip when the depth of sweet honey and vanilla nose becomes the baseline for the taste of this 12 year old.
About as much peat as you'd expect from a Speyside, but more sweet with a slightly citrusy finish that lingers on the tongue. Enjoyable and sippable - great to have in the home bar for any scotch lover.
Wasn’t a fan of the taste on this one
Love the floral gentleness of this malt. Long but light finish. Don’t get any smoke. Can’t go wrong with this Speyside. 👍
Very smooth and nice fruity flavor.
Relatively unimpressed, even after buying for an on sale price point. Smoky, yes. But with an acidic finish.
Wonderful flavor. Super Smokey. Very very smooth. Leaves an oily finish.
Lovely woody, strong character. Excellent!
Nice flavor and richness
Very light in the nose, nothing remarkable
A friends favorite that is quickly becoming among my top liked. Sweet and nice mouth feel.
