In Christmas of 2010, we ran a competition to celebrate Compass Box's 10th anniversary. The winners got to make their own whisky with a little help from John Glaser, Compass Box's master blender. Ben, our sales director, tagged along and joined the winners for a spot of dinner, and blended a whisky of his own. It was handsomely wax-dipped and packaged in one of the finest bottles we ever did see, and it is really rather tasty. We thought we'd make some samples of it and popped it on the site for all to try. Having just Skyped Ben for more information about this delicious blend, all we could glean was that it "probably contained some Dailuaine" and also "some really dark looking stuff (because that's the best kind of whisky)".
