Nice and fruity apple flavor
This is a single barrel so quality will vary. On this bottle the nose is actually fairly faint. Cherries if you search. Mouth feel is thin. Palate shows some barrel influence, vanilla, dark fruits. Good, but not great. I like it, but not in a hurry to replace.
My absolute favorite at the moment. Very sweet at first. A nice hint of Oak and a bit of fruit on the back end. Opens up very nicely as it sits in the glass. I'd take a pour of EHT Single Barrel over a Pappy 12 or 15 any day. For me it's a more accessible Pappy 10. Cheers
Great to open with a small amount or water. Smooth and nutty flavors. Oak finish
Simply the best!
Small batch was good but this is amazing.
Lots of flavor but smoother than the small batch.
Finished strong. Great corn whiskey. Initially metallic but oh that finish....
a little better than the small batch
Another top favorite. Smooth and flavorful.
Oh yum! Complex with good flavor and a little spice on the finish. This is must for the bar. Enjoy neat.
A little too boozy
Such a great drink.
One of my favorites. An excellent bourbon.
This is definitely a step up from small batch, great nose, fantastic flavor profile. If I see these on the shelf I buy them every time!
I you see this buy a bottle - as good as it gets. Smooth & complex with lots going on
I never thought I was a bourbon fan, but then I realized that’s because I never had good bourbon. The nose of this is sweet. Almost sherry like. When it hits your tongue you get a huge range of flavors. You get hit with this rich, sweet, spicy oak flavor. From the way it feels in your mouth you would think it’s going to burn going down. But it goes down smoother than any other bourbon or whiskey I’ve tasted. Hard to find but found a bottle for $69.99 and wish I bought the rest of the 6 pack this liquor store received.
Newer to bourbon, but this is amazingly smooth. Lots of caramel and buttery.
Lives up to all the hype and more
Wonderful start. Great finish. I tried and loved the Small Batch, graduated to the Single Barrel. Outstanding!!
