— Wow, what a great tasting bottle. My brother had purchased the Rye, so I thought I’d give this a try, instant favorite. I preferred it on the rocks, and let it open up a little before drinking. Really made the flavor pop.

— Great whiskey, so smooth it’s hard to believe it’s 110 proof

I’m biased because it’s my home state. But I really enjoy the apple flavors in the finish.
Great in a flask on the ski hill. Do they have snow in Alabama?
Great taste. Fiery sip.
Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Original Alabama Style Whiskey
Both good options
It’s not bad, no complaints and cool story behind it!
Their Kentucky Bourbon is one of my favorites. I did not like this one that much. It is tough to get passed the heat at 110 proof. It is however, vastly improved with some time to breathe and perhaps an ice cube.
i actually own Clyde May's straight bourbon whiskey (not the one pictured). It's my favorite affordable bourbon.
Great drinker. Easy to sip and smooth enough for everyone.
I tried it again after a few months and I was floored, it’s delicious.

Good bourbon right here. Well balanced on the palate with an even better finish. Again, a little too pricey for what it is.
Enjoyable. A hair on the nose for me. But once you’re over that, very smooth and enjoyable.

Great whiskey, so smooth it’s hard to believe it’s 110 proof
The beginning is nice with the taste of apples, but that spice and clove at the end hits hard.
Not bad bourbon, but not looking to buy again or venture to their higher end offerings. Had an "apple" like quality, but not a good one, like a man made apple flavor. Would be good at a party to share around.
Very decent -sweet and strong
Can you say Carmel Apple? I love this Alabama State alcohol, very smooth for 110 proof! I’ll be looking for another bottle soon!
Apple flavor is nice surprise to the finish
Very nice sipping. Easy on the nose with some fruit notes and a nice warm cinnamon finish
Great fruit flavor and drinks wonderfully easy over ice. My favorite whiskey for an Old Fashioned.
Very smooth for being 110 proof.
Very good apple notes in the background with upfront caramel
Alabama's best whiskey. Had only one drink. Thinking of giving rest to my friend in Grand Bay, AL. Roll Tide!!!
Interesting. The burn is definitely there but I definitely don’t mind it. It was nice over ice.
Great nose to this Whiskey you can not only smell the apples but taste them. very smooth for 110 Proof. makes a great cocktail, but i enjoy it neat.. Cheers
Lots of fruit - different than most things you will try. Interesting and good not at all a classic style
Loved it. Great aroma, but disappointed in the finish
Interesting whiskey here. The nose you get hit with the apple right upfront. Drink it neat and you taste Clyde May's legacy as a moonshiner. It is harsh and just has a hint of apple when you drink it neat. I tried to add water to temper it but at 110 proof it is hard to do that. I discovered that if you add Oceanspray Cranberry juice the 100% kind makes the apple flavor really shine. Just a rock glass with a shot or two of this whiskey fill in with cranberry juice and some ice cubes makes for an excellent drink that kind of taste like a liquid Jolly Rancher. Whiskey and cran anyone?
The 'just a whiff of cinnamon and apple tart' is much more forward and present on both the nose and palate than the description would have you believe. Feels like fall in an orchard.
Has a unique flavor and heat to it. One of a kind. I enjoy the spice in this whiskey.
Was surprised by the taste. Definitely presence of apple but not overwhelmingly sweet. Almost a refreshing presence. Smooth. Enjoyed it.
Wow, one of my new favorites. The smell of caramel and apple are wonderful. At first you taste apple and a hint of caramel. The finish is smooth with a little kick.
