Cherry, oak, and baked apple aromas. Just a hint of honey and barrelhouse funk. Flavors of black cherry and toffee up front followed by mellow round oak notes.
I enjoyed this bourbon, but found it to be "Thin" I have not tried the Black Cherry, I had the Sugar Maple. It is not my "go to" but still a nice sipper
What can I say? Well it’s smooth, very smooth. As an avid whiskey drinker I was amazed at how smooth this was going down with very little bite at the end. My wife who is a self proclaimed whiskey hater had a drink and she was impressed with how little bite it had at the end as well.
I had higher hopes for this. More alcohol forward than I was expecting. Not very smooth and more spice than expected.
Maybe what I was anticipating was just off and it skewed my opinion
It was not what I had hoped it would be. Disappointing to say the least. Really strong taste of rubbing alcohol on the backend is what it reminded me of. Mixes okay with coke, but not tasty on the rocks.
Woody aroma. Very strong and spicey with a nice sweetness to it. Not bad at all for the price. I actually dropped an ice cube in it (which I rarely ever do) and it accentuated the crispness.
I have generally loved all of the Cleveland Whiskey and as a cherry aficionado looked forward to receiving this with great anticipation. I swallowed it with great disappointment. I found it to be very bitter and to taste much like what I'd imagine an old shoe tastes like. I ended up mixing it with Canada Dry and that made it palatable.
This is an awful bourbon whiskey. The nose is pungent and smells like glued particleboard and the taste is even worse. There is a reason that bourbon and whiskey is finished in wood barrels, and not concocted in pressure tubes. Don’t waste your time, money, or tastebuds on this fake bourbon whiskey.
