The perfect everyday dram, plus a free taste of the rare Chapter 7 Monologue 12 Year Old Blair Athol to boot.
Chapter 7 Whisky operates on one simple premise — each cask of Whisky is unique. The wood, age, temperature, its location in the rick-house… everything tells its own story. Large Scotch producers marry casks in large vats before bottling so that the master blender can try to make them all taste the same. The folks at Chapter 7 Whisky think that’s a shame. Chapter 7 is the brain-child of Selim Evin. He thinks that each cask should tell its own unique tale, so he travels to Scotland and Ireland to hand-select single casks from the inventories of the world’s greatest distilleries. Then he custom bottles each one with its own story. How many bottles, you ask? Well, until the barrel is empty.
This bundle introduces you to The Prologue that was introduced in 2021 and adds a free sample of the super rare Chapter 7 Monologue 12 Year Old Blair Athol 2009 Bourbon Cask.
Chapter 7 Prologue Batch #2 is a small batch blend of Speyside and Highland Single Malts that were aged in ex-Bourbon barrels. As the perfect casual, everyday dram, this edition complements their Monologue and Anecdote collection with its floral and fruity nose and approachable palate, packed with sweet spices. Enjoy straight or mix it up.
Built in 1798 in Pitlorchy, Blair Athol is adored for its nutty character. Chapter 7 Monologue 12 Year Old Blair Athol 2009 Bourbon Cask has a deep, rich, malt loaf character that’s really hard not to love. With only 299 bottles made of this non-chill filtered beauty, this is a real gem. Warning: you might fall for it hard after just a few sips. The good news? You can grab the big bottling chez nous, too.
