— Insanely delicious! Smooth and ripe with layer upon layer of flavor. One of my all time favorites.

— Wow. I have not written many reviews, but this scotch is simply fantastic. The flavor complexity and out of this world. Great nose and for the higher alcohol it is surprisingly smooth. I only wish I had ordered two.

BRUCE
BRUCE,
Like previous review we found the front end taste a bit odd but overall was enjoyable. It was a bit harsher than I expected for a 24 year old and not as smokey and peaty as expected given the base distilleries used. Would put the 16 yr Laugavulin ahead of this if given a choice of the 2.

mark,
On the nose I am getting citrus and perhaps grass... Front end taste is actually odd -- sweet with a hint of smoke and flowers that melds over into more citrus. Finish is a mellow version of the front with a little smoke and vanilla. Overall: no real peat and not a firehouse full of smoke 🙂 Just some really pleasant interaction of flavors.
