Cedar Ridge Distillery was the
first distillery to open in Iowa since Prohibition, preserving a legacy of a lost craft. Their techniques allow each batch of
Whiskey to take on the character of Iowa’s land and climate.
From the very first sip, you can taste each step of their meticulous process from grain to glass. Cedar Ridge Distillery began as a Winery established by
Jeff Quint in 2005 where they began distilling some of their grape juice into
Brandy.
The Whiskey had to mature a few years before their first
Bourbon was released in 2010. Shortly after their Whiskey was released it received a few
accolades including
"2017 Distiller of the Year" and
"Best American Craft Whiskey" in 2016.
