Joshua
Joshua,
Fantastic sipping. Mello with enough rye to add a bit of fire. Not overly complex but an excellent price for what you get. And what you get is a Rye with balance, and flavor.

Joe
Joe,
Great carmel aroma. I liked it before the glass hit my lips. The 58% was more than welcome as I sampled it as a nightcap. As others have noted I think it will be best enjoyed with a splash of water or over ice.

Robert
Robert,
Wonderful rye. Spicy with a clean finish.

Renee
Renee,
Not for me. No aroma to speak of. Oily, medicinal taste when neat. Reasonable with lots of water.

Steven
Steven,
Good on the rocks!

Richard
Richard,
This one seems a bit watered down. I wish I would have started with this tasting, it would have been a good #1.

April
April,
A little too medicinal and licorice heavy

John
John,
Smooth, well made, young rye. You can't go wrong with the Roundstone Rye. Scott and Becky make some good stuff!

Matt

Really good stuff. Goes down smooth. I prefer it on the rocks.

Victor
Victor,
A fairly sweet Rye that still has the characteristic spicy finish that I love in a good Rye. All in All an extremely good spirit especially for those new to Rye Whiskey.

Elizabeth
Elizabeth,
Complex. Initially a bit harsh but finishes well.

Kris
Kris,
Solid but a little to aggressive and a not quite enough on the finish

Daniel
Daniel,
I’ve had a few bottles of this whiskey over the years. The evolution of this fairly young distillery has been an interesting ride. I enjoyed every bottle. This is an easy sipping rye.

Matt
Matt,
Meh. Not bad, but nothing special either.

Christopher
Christopher,
Pretty good Rye. Good fruit and vanilla flavoring, no hard done looked some other Ryes. Better on the tongue then on the nose.

Gordon
Gordon,
Not too bad, not too good. Middle of the road that really leaves me with little to say. Butter and bread notes are strong. Smell is almost overpowering.

Justin
Justin,
It is a fairly smooth rye. I have had better rye's for sure, but very drinkable. It kind of tastes like drinking a loaf of bread.

Justin
Justin,
Smells disgusting but the flavor is very smooth and crisp. Slightly bad aftertaste but still pretty good.

Chris
Chris,
A very nature driven aroma, beautiful. light lemon, buttery and caramel taste. After taste is good, felt like I took a bite out of a loaf. Not so long lasting or as spicy as I prepared for, but a good glass of whiskey for sure.

Daniel
Daniel,
Would be using this for a mixer

Michael
Michael,
Not terrible for a rye - but there certainly are better ones. This is excellent for mixing.

JUSTIN
JUSTIN,
Nice smooth whiskey. Will be buying again.

Mike
Mike,
Not bad

Tom
Tom,
My absolute go-to for cocktails and neat rye alike.

guest
guest,
Hands down the best rye whisky made. It is so smooth and delicious, and easily mixes with lots of great old-school cocktails. My favorite rye, time and again.
