Founded in 1958
There is a lot of confusion about Cascadia Distillery. There is a Cascadia Distillery in British Columbia, Canada, but there is also a Cascadia Artesian Distillery just south of the border in Montana. There is also a Cascadia Rye Whiskey made by the Cadee Distillery in Bend, Oregon.

All of these facilities are within a few hundred miles of each other, so they obviously have some branding issues to overcome. Perhaps that’s why the Cascadia Distillery in Canada is also known as “Potter’s Distillery” after the Potter family.

In any event, it can get very confusing. Cascadia (Potter’s) Distillery is located in Kelowna, British Columbia, in a narrow mountain valley. It is owned by Cascadia Brands Inc. and serves as a production-only facility, making the Century, Potter’s, Canadian Corn, and Royal Canadian Spirits, among other brands.
