Top reviews for Bushmills Black Bush:
— Bushmills Red Bush is definitely a favorite. Good day, hard day. always smooth and refined but much more of depth and satisfaction than regular Bushmill which is good on certain occasions. Red Bush qualifies for all occasions. Not to soft or hard. just perfect unless you need more
Floral/herbal nose with a hint of cereal grains. Tastes a bit sweet, herbal, and nutty.
I didn't find it quite as sweet as basic bushmills, but an excellent whiskey to drink neat, especially at the price.
Really good entry into Irish. A little more complex and quite tasty. Excellent value for the price.
By far my favorite Irish whiskey so far. Smooth and inexpensive.
Blackbush, my first ever tasting and as an A/B comparison with Teeling Small Batch
nose: sherry, sweet, vanilla, fruity (almost banana), apple, fresh, slightly rubbery but not smokey, bassy!
taste: Slightly flat/ muted compared to nose (at first), sweet, vanilla, buttery, some bitterness (maybe woody), spice, cake
finish: quite thin, slightly spirity (not unpleasantly), sherry, wood
Pleasant and approachable, I bought a bottle after my grandad bought 20 bottles for a wedding, thoroughly enjoyed then and happy to have a bottle now.

Better flavor than Original, and pretty smooth.
This and red Bush are some of my go-tos for daily drinkers.
Excellent step up from your base Bushmills. Delicious neat or in a cocktail.
Not my favorite Bushmills, thought it was a little harsh.
Good. Lovely and drinkable. Had this in Northern Ireland. 'When in Rome' they say.
Enjoyable but not a favorite.
Not a favorite but not bad. Let a little water mellow it a little and it’s a decent sipper.
Great "everyday" whiskey for mixing / when you want something easy on the bank account. Nice and smooth, bit of spice.
Sherry & fruit on the nose.
Light fruit & spice
An easy sip at the end of a day.
Perfect in an Irish Coffee.
Dark, sweet, strong... one of my favourites
I prefer this to classic Bushmills. Has a more complex nose and flavor.
Decent, affordable NAS Irish whiskey. Great for someone finding their feet, a great go to.
No doubt there is better Irish out there... but at this price, its a shockingly good value with way more complexity and flavor than just about anything else comparable.
Smells like pears and apples with a hint of smoke…taste includes light sherry, prominent nuts, a little cinnamon a bit woody (oak?) and grass or grain (not sure how to describe that!). Outstanding.
Wonderful cinnamon spiciness. The Apple / fruit flavor really comes through.
Love this! great all around whiskey.
Fairly mild, sweeter flavor
Good, smooth, warms the way you want
Standard Irish Whiskey, strong caramel notes, smooth finish.
Really enjoy this with cola. Flavors play well without adding additional sweetness like a rum would.
Like Johnny Walker Black Label. Chocolaty, caramely, and easy to drink.
Amber color. Sherry-esque with aromas of green apple peels and a touch of sea-salt and caramel. The palate is just showing peanut butter made with roasted nuts with a touch of sweetness. Very light body and structure, but I think it’s a great for sipping. Doesn’t need water or ice.
Great drinking whiskey
Beautiful Irish Whisky, great character and easy to drink a bigger pour because it is such a great value.
A very easy and pleasant drink. Dangerously pleasant!
I'm new to whiskey tasting but black bush seems to be a gentle lady of the night seducing me to the subtle beauty of imbibing.
