Mòine is a special release from the Bunnahabhain distillery. This is a peated expression selected by master distillery Ian MacMillan for Feis Ile 2009. This was distilled in 2003. The name is Gaelic for peat, a reference to the high peat levels in this usually lightly peated whisky. Finished in Oloroso sherry butts for three months.

What does Bunnahabhain Mòine taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Bunnahabhain Mòine and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Lars
Lars,
Personally one of my favourite Islay whiskies. Very subtle scent of burnt sugar and liquorice and menthol. One of those islay that you never get tired of. The palate makes its clear some smokiness and fudge flavours. I prefer it at room temperature.

Kalle
