― As other reviewers have said, this truly is the BEST sipping rum. I’ll be honest, I shoot and chase most spirits, regardless of the quality (and I always try to go for high quality and at least a mid range price for the most part) as I’m kind of sensitive to the alcohol burn but this stuff is just too good to NOT sip. And the price point is a huge bonus, beyond reasonable for how absolutely delicious this stuff is. Perfectly sweet but not so sweet you get sick of it. Bursting with complex flavors and aromas and totally unique, nothing else like it out there. I especially pick up on banana, butterscotch, and vanilla with rich chocolate and caramel not far behind and a wonderful oakiness hanging around in the background/finish. Honestly might be my favorite spirit out there, period (and I’m primarily a bourbon and vodka drinker). 10 stars all the way!
