Neil
Neil,
Not on my bar, but I regularly drink it when out to dinner at restaurants with limited selection. Everyone has Bulleitt and it does not disappoint. Great value.

Daniel,
My go-to for whiskey cocktails. Cheap & decent.

Jeff

This is my go-to Rye whiskey. It's light on the spice yet subtle with the sweet notes. Very smooth finish.

Great base for many drinks. I particularly like it in my Old Fashioneds and Manhattans. I'll go to others for neat or on the rocks.

Buttery biscuit goodness

William

This is great for everyday sipping. Spicy and mellow.

Jessica
Jessica,
The first words in my mind and out of my mouth for that matter was, "very tasty!". I tasted it first in an old fashion and it was probably the best I've had so far with some tough competitors like buffalo trace. I totally 100 percent second this motion: "spicy bite that isn't boring and won't break the bank." from a previous review in this site for this whiskey.

Ray
Ray,
Not the most complex but a great every day rye for a good price.

David
David,
While looking for my budget daily rye, it came down to George Dickel, Rittenhouse, Old Forester and Bulleit. All at similar prices, I had each bottle twice and finally settled on Bulleit. There are FAR better ryes out there, (Pikeville is my tops), but for $20 Bulleit is an absolute bargain that gives you exactly what you expect from a budget rye. Which is a spicy bite that isn't boring and won't break the bank. 9/10

Jeff

Bulleit 95 Rye is my go-to for a Kentucky Mule or a Manhattan. The perfect mixing whiskey.

JON
JON,
Good taste with a bite, good for a mixer, not great straight.

Brandon
Brandon,
Love this stuff. I taste the vanilla right off the sip. Then comes the spicy rye and almost fiery cinnamon with a buttery finish. Seems like a single ice cube makes the butter more pronounced.

guest
guest,
Really good.

Nate
Nate,
I'm attached to it, but bored.

Brendan
Brendan,
Great mixer but not much else.

Matthew
Matthew,
Great rye with an easy finish. Started using it in lieu of bourbon in my Manhattan and Old-Fashioned style cocktails and it definitely adds a subtle touch when compared to Bulleit Bourbon.

Derek
Derek,
solid no fluff rye, my go to for old fashions

Eric
Eric,
Lots of cherry, bit of spice. Great whiskey.

Edoardo
Edoardo,
Vanilla in all her majesty: smell, first flavor and finish is quite persistent. Here and there a hint of rye and spicy that balance the sweet. Very pleasant also straight

Adam
Adam,
Nice and oaky palate, pleasantly spiced with a good balance of bitter, sweet, and savory. My go-to Rye whiskey.

Zack
Zack,
This is a great tasting rye. Very crisp and smooth with a kick at the end.

Charlotte

Great for an old fashioned or mixing with ginger ale!

John
John,
This is my favorite “go to” rye whiskey. Neat, on the rocks, or with a splash of water, Bulleit is consistent in flavor, balance and smoothness. It’s also a good value for the price.

Jarod
Jarod,
A little heavier than the classic Bulleit. More spice and, of course, rye flavour. I'm not a big fan of ryes but I do like Bulleit... this is my personal favourite rye that I've tried so far.

Blake
Blake,
Nose: crisp alcohol, honey Taste: Citrus, spicy rye, honey, more sweet than dry Finish: classic rye linger, light to medium tannins

Gary
Gary,
While this is not an obnoxious dram, Woodford Reserve’s Rye Whiskey is 1,000 times better. Give Woodford a try instead.

Matthew
Matthew,
Easy drinking, my go to for Old Fashioned recipes.

Daniel
Daniel,
Nose:. Spicy with a hint of sweet. Did burn though. Taste: oaky, spicy and a sweet sugar (in a good way). Overall pretty good, but not straight. THe alcohol burn is a bit much, but this makes a wonderful Old Fashion!

David
David,
Is rye an acquired taste? I like this whiskey, very good, especially for the price, but not yet totally sold on rye.

My go to whiskey for the perfect "old fashioned". Perfect every time!

Aaron
Aaron,
While I'm not a huge fan of Bulleit's regular bourbon, this rye really is special. Quite sweet and smooth, almost non-rye sweet & smooth. Might not be a good mixer such as in an Old Fashioned, but as a straight sipper this is hard to beat for the affordability!

Peter
Peter,
Solid Rye

John
John,
My first real experience with rye, went down smooth. That could've been due to my day drinking, regardless it did not make me sick.

My go to Rye for cocktails. There are plenty of better ryes if you want to drink it straight, but this one is inexpensive enough and high enough quality to make a great mixer.

DAVID
DAVID,
A Go-To rye. Good for cocktails (makes a great Old Fashioned), and I like it neat. It is definitely a rye, but even at 95% rye, it has a nice balance. I think this is an excellent value and something I keep on hand at all times.

Charles

Love it, Smooth, Well Balanced. Go to with a cigar, Alec Bradley Tempus.

Jonathan
Jonathan,
Staple for me and my bar. All around tasty and hits the marks with only the heat (subjective to like/dislike) being a discerning attribute. Have to admit, I'd probably put the taste more as a 7, but the price point lifts it to a total package 8.

Flannery
Flannery,
Go to, desert-island liquor

Jerrod
Jerrod,
A great rye for the price. This is my go-to for whisk(e)y sours. It is also easy to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

Mike
Mike,
Go to rye for old fashions

Zane
Zane,
I love and drink a lot of ryes, but I always come back to Bulleit Rye. It is a bold, spicy rye, with all kinds of eucalyptus, pepper, and minty notes that come together beautifully in a caramel wrapper. I have tried and tried to find a better rye at a higher price point. Willet Rye is close, but no cigar. If I had to pick a rye for life, this would be the one.

Brett
Brett,
Smoother rye whiskey.

guest
guest,
My favorite bourbon in this “tier”. Great flavor and great finish. Enjoyable straight or with a cube.

Isak,
Tastes alright. A little too spicy for my tastes, and not the smoothest finish, but still delicious.

A great intro to rye whiskey, if a bit harsh. Has a nice finish once you get over the initial punch of heat and bold flavors.

Jason

Great cocktail rye. Perhaps the best cocktail rye.

Mike
Mike,
Smoother than the straight whiskey- I like this one a lot!

Edward
Edward,
Great taste, but for my tastes it required a longer time to dilute with ice than others. Definitely a sipping whiskey if you're having it neat. Would be great with a spicy sausage, German mustard, and sauerkraut. Spicy smell, that levels out for a buttery finish if diluted. Tastes like virgin white oak was used in my opinion. Hint of sour notes; maybe lemon peel like bitterness best describes it.

Tyler
Tyler,
This is one of my go-to drinks for a nice sipping drink.

My favorite for what I call a "Manhattan Royale". 1 part Sweet Vermouth 1 part Chambord 2 Parts Bulleit Rye Pour the above over ice, sling in a dash of Angostura bitters. Stir and enjoy like the royalty that you are.
